This privacy policy explains how MyDeathCare should handle information during the pilot stage.

MyDeathCare is an independent funeral decision-support project. It is not a funeral operator and does not sell funeral packages.

Information Families May Share

If contact forms, email, or checklist requests are enabled later, families may choose to share:

  • name
  • email address
  • phone number
  • general location or region
  • the type of guide or checklist requested
  • a short question or correction request

Families should not send:

  • IC/passport numbers
  • hospital documents
  • medical records
  • death certificates
  • bank details
  • passwords
  • private family disputes
  • sensitive details about the deceased unless absolutely necessary

Provider Information

MyDeathCare may collect provider information from public sources and direct provider contact, including:

  • trading name
  • legal or registered name where publicly visible or directly confirmed
  • public phone or WhatsApp
  • website or social links
  • service area
  • source URL
  • verification status
  • contact outcome notes

Provider information stays private until it is reviewed for accuracy, consent, and publication suitability.

Analytics

MyDeathCare may use basic analytics to understand which pages are useful. This may include:

  • page path
  • clicked button or link type
  • region label selected on the page
  • approximate traffic and engagement patterns

Analytics should be used to improve guides and checklists, not to expose private family details.

Cookies And Tracking

The site may use:

  • basic site preferences, such as language selection
  • Cloudflare analytics after the production token is configured
  • internal click tracking for buttons and guide requests

MyDeathCare should avoid intrusive tracking and should not sell personal data.

Data Retention

During pilot preparation:

  • raw research data should remain private
  • provider contact notes should remain private
  • unverified provider records should not be published
  • outdated or incorrect information should be corrected or removed when identified

Contact

Planned production contact:

hello@mydeathcare.my

This email should be activated after the domain is purchased.

Important Note

This policy is a practical pilot-stage privacy page. It should be reviewed again before public launch, before adding contact forms, and before starting regular provider outreach.

Next step: 下一步: Save the questions before the first call. Provider listings and merchant claims stay private until verification is complete. 在第一次致电前先记下这些问题。服务商名单与商家声明在完成核实前保持保密。
