MyDeathCare is an independent Malaysia funeral decision-support project.
It exists to help families slow down the first decision, ask better questions, compare written information, and avoid paying before they understand what they are choosing.
Our positioning is:
Before you call, before you pay, before you choose.
What MyDeathCare Is
MyDeathCare is:
- a consumer information hub
- a checklist and decision-support resource
- a private research system for funeral provider information
- a future verification and referral workflow, only after provider information is checked
Public pages are written to help families prepare before speaking with any funeral provider, agent, memorial park, columbarium, or related service.
What MyDeathCare Is Not
MyDeathCare is not:
- a funeral home
- a funeral parlour
- a casket service operator
- a memorial park owner
- an insurance, legal, medical, or religious adviser
- a site that sells funeral packages or collects deposits
We do not ask families to pay MyDeathCare for funeral packages.
Why The Site Exists
Funeral decisions are often made under pressure. Families may need to decide quickly while dealing with grief, hospital procedures, religious customs, relatives, documents, and payment requests.
MyDeathCare focuses on practical questions such as:
- What should I prepare before calling a funeral provider?
- What is included or excluded in a funeral package?
- What should be written down before paying a deposit?
- How do I check whether an agent or provider is legitimate?
- What information should a family confirm privately before choosing?
Provider Information Policy
Provider information is kept private until it is reviewed.
MyDeathCare does not publish provider rankings, "best funeral service" lists, or recommendation claims unless there is a clear verification and disclosure process.
Private research may include public websites, social pages, directory references, business-report snippets, and direct provider confirmation. These signals help us organize a market map, but they are not the same as official endorsement.
Editorial Standard
Public content should be:
- neutral
- checklist-driven
- practical
- dated when reviewed
- clear about what is verified and what is not
We avoid copying competitor pages, republishing Google reviews, or pretending to have expert status we do not hold.
Contact
After the production domain and email are set up, the preferred contact email will be:
hello@mydeathcare.my
Until then, MyDeathCare remains in pilot preparation mode.
